Another Candidate for Surrey Consistory

On Wednesday the 22nd of February, Surrey Consistory No 4 T.I. welcomed a new candidate into the 1st Grade of the Order. The Consistory was also honoured by a visit from the Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist.Comp. Arnold Long and several Provincial Officers of the year.

The Consistory was opened by the President, Dist.Comp. Simon McCarthy, who welcomed everyone, especially the visitors. The Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist Comp. Arnold Long, was received and welcomed into the Consistory by Companion President and saluted with seven under the direction of the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Dist.Comp. Ian Bloodworth. He introduced the Provincial Officers who had turned up in force to support him and the Consistory, especially the good turnout from members of the Provincial Tzaddikim.

Another Candidate for Surrey Consistory

A ballot was taken for Brother Richard J Wileman as a Candidate for Admission. This proved in his favour and Bro. Richard was conferred with the 1st Grade of the Order by the Primus of Ostiarrii, Em.Comp. Mark Donovan, ably assisted by R.Dist.Comp. Mik Barnes, Past Provincial Grand Summus. McGarr. They were then congratulated by the Provincial Grand Summus.

The next item on the agenda was to present a 3rd Grade Certificate to Comp. Roger Short. This was done by our Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist.Comp. Arnold Long.

The Companions of Surrey Consistory, and their guests, dined afterwards to a most convivial lunch at the Surbiton Masonic Hall.
